Twitter locks Georgia Greene’s account for ‘multiple violations’

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, R.-Ga., saw her Twitter account frozen Sunday after committing “multiple violations” on the social media platform.

Reuters reported that Greene had been back and forth with a Georgian election official.

A Twitter spokesperson told Fox News that Greene’s account “has been temporarily locked out for multiple violations of our civic integrity policy.” Greene’s office did not immediately respond to an email from Fox News seeking comment.

The decision to lock Greene from his account comes at a time when Twitter faces new scrutiny over alleged Tory censorship.

Right-wing guerrilla newspaper Project Veritas released a clip last Thursday given to them by an alleged Twitter “insider whistleblower” who secretly recorded CEO Jack Dorsey’s remarks to staff.

“We know we’re focusing on one account right now, but it’s going to be way more important than just one account, and it’s going to last a lot longer than this day, this week and the next few weeks, and so on. ‘went beyond the inauguration,’ said Dorsey.

Many Conservatives saw this comment as a sign of what was to come.

Greene announced last week that she would file articles of impeachment against President-elect Joe Biden a day after the inauguration.

She said her motivation was to stand up for the 75 million Americans who “are fed up with inaction” in government.
