Well, it was not as disastrous as the Fyre Festival – but again, few things are.
Rapper Ja Rule, one of the geniuses (to use the term extremely generously) behind the infamous Bahamas Music Festival, was on Twitter on Saturday night after his Milwaukee Bucks half-time show did not "hypnotize" the crowd.
Wearing a Ray Allen Bucks jersey, Ja Rule was booked for the team's "90s Night" party – though everyone, including Ja Rule, would argue that it was not the case. Is not an artist of the 90s.
"They said it was the night of the '90s, so they brought in an artist from the 2000s," said Ja Rule, who had his greatest successes at the beginning of the year, to the crowd gathered at the Milwaukee Forum at the Fiserv Forum. "But my album was released in 1999, so I guess it counts."
It became more embarrassing from there. Moments later, Ja Rule shouted, "Are we ready?" rallying cry that apparently failed to "Fyre" in the crowd. "I guess not," Ja Rule replied.
To make matters worse, Giannis Antetokounmpo and other Bucks players went to the field to launch practice shots before the end of the Ja Rule show.
Ja Rule was very ridiculous after Netflix and Hulu escaped from the highly publicized Fyre documentary last month. Twitter wanted to make fun of him again.
Some of them referred to the current nemesis of Ja Rule, 50 Cent.
And you just know that someone had to conjure up the famous cheese sandwiches of the Fyre Festival.
Even the Minnesota Timberwolves, who played against the Bucks on Saturday, tried their luck on their official Twitter account.
Ja Rule had a rather hilarious (and perhaps delirious) response to the team, tweeting: "You just scrambled by talking to GOD this way … your CURSE now !!!"
Some defenders of Ja Rule at the game posted their own videos suggesting that the reaction was not as tepid as a viral clip suggests – although these videos show that the crowd was not really ecstatic either.
As for Giannis and the Bucks who are shooting while Ja Rule was still playing, the rapper suggested on Twitter that it was a common practice at NBA half-time shows.
Ja Rule also stated that the comment "I guess no" was not about the audience, but because his DJ had technical problems.
"(The music) did not come when it was supposed to do it, but I balanced it (expletive)," Ja Rule said on Twitter. "My winning streak continues."
It's questionable, but the Bucks' winning streak continued on Saturday. The team with the best record in the NBA beat the Timberwolves, 140-128.

The Fyre Music Festival in The Bahamas has apparently turned into "The Hunger Games" for the rich.
