Twitter adds stickers to its fleeting fleets like Snapchat Stories, the social media company announced wednesday. The stickers are available for users on Android and iOS.
When you create a fleet, you will be able to add stickers by tapping the smiley face icon on the bottom line of your screen. When you do, you’ll see a collection of animated stickers and emoji created on Twitter (the latter that Twitter calls “Twemoji”). And if you search for something in the search bar at the top of the screen, Twitter will show GIFs from Tenor and Giphy owned by Facebook.
Your fleets have just received an upgrade.

If you’ve used stickers on Snapchat or Instagram before, this new feature should look pretty familiar to you. That said, the feature may seem so familiar as Snapchat and Instagram have been offering it for years. But Twitter is still in its early stages with Fleets, which only became available to everyone in November, so maybe the stickers are just the first sign of more additions to come.
