The Week 5 game between the Miami Dolphins and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought some exciting moments and plenty of points.
Jacoby Brissett had a pretty solid game, but the offense couldn’t get into the end zone enough to compete with Tampa Bay’s incredible weapon group. Brissett completed 27 of his 39 attempts for 275 yards and two touchdowns. The quarterback also had an interception that day, but the pass went through the hands of Jaylen Waddle, so Brissett shouldn’t be blamed.
He did all of this with a hamstring injury he suffered during the game. Brissett was actually hauled to the locker room but didn’t even miss a wink.
Miami’s defense was the big deal today. They allowed 450 passing yards and five touchdowns and over 100 rushing yards. Josh Boyer’s unit couldn’t stop anything.
