Rory MacDonald retained his Bellator welterweight title and advanced to the welterweight final on Friday, beating Neiman Gracie in the Bellator 222 main pavilion.

MacDonald (21-5-1 MMA, 3-1-1 BMMA) managed a quick turnaround after his bout in the quarter-finals and managed to inflict Gracie (9-1 MMA, 7-1 BMMA) his first loss in career in the main competition. took place at Madison Square Garden in New York. With this victory, the Canadian will qualify for the final of the tournament where he will see Douglas Lima for the belt and the price of a million dollars.
