Two Connecticut restaurant workers were found dead in the building’s supply closet, according to a report.

A third worker was hospitalized around noon Monday after the three suffered an apparent drug overdose in the New Haven building, police told WTNH.

Two of them, in their fifties, were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third man found in distress outside the storage room was taken to hospital.

The owner of Jack’s – a restaurant in the building – confirmed to the media that one of the deceased men was employed by the restaurant, while the other was a former worker.

The man at the hospital is also a current employee of Jack, according to the report.

The owner said he believed the trio had broken into the room while the restaurant was closed.

Police do not suspect a crime, but are investigating whether a bad batch of drugs are circulating in the city, according to the report.
