Two dead, suspect in detention in "killings" targeting other women

A Michigan man was arrested Friday morning after he showed the authorities images on the phone of two dead women and told a witness that he was on a mission to rid other women that he knew of. of their "demons", announced the authorities.

The 26-year-old man from Delta Township was detained under unrelated warrants while detectives were investigating what they alleged to be a "killing" interrupted by the speedy application of the law.

The victims, a 26-year-old woman from Holt, Mich., And a 32-year-old woman from the nearby town of Meridian, have both been victims of cruel trauma, said Friday the county sheriff. 39, Ingham, Scott Wriggelsworth, at a press conference.

The names of the victims were retained until the family could be found and notified. The identity of the suspect will be revealed after his indictment, authorities said.

"I do not think there is any doubt about the fact that the suspect was killing," Wriggelsworth said. "And his quick capture probably saved many lives.In fact, since we are conducting this investigation, we learned that there were other victims that this guy was planning to kill."

Authorities say it was his intention to attack at least two other women before being foiled at around 2:40 am at a traffic stop.

A third woman, a witness from Eaton County, helped the investigators unravel the case after contacting the authorities early Friday to denounce a suspect outside her home who she said said would have sent him disturbing texts.

"She received messages from the suspect telling him that he loved her, so he spared her and she will know what that means soon," said Wriggelsworth. "He also added that he had rid the demons of some of his dear friends."

Within 50 minutes of the woman's call to the authorities, the Eaton County Command found the suspect's vehicle and arrested the driver, who they said was the man behind the alleged madness, said the sheriff.

"During the shutdown, the subject then made comments or statements to deputies on the spot asking him to show them pictures or media pictures on his phone," Wriggelsworth said. "When he did that, there were pictures of two women who appeared to be dead on his phone."

The suspect was jailed on "some other warrants," the sheriff said, but death-related charges would be officially recommended soon.

The suspect knew all his victims and had a romantic relationship with one of the women involved in the case, the authorities said.

"These are not random acts, necessarily," said Wriggelsworth.

He said that he believed that there was no more threat to the public.
