Two Dutchess County Shops Among Closures Without Payment

Another iconic retailer is closing its doors.

Payless ShoeSource will close its remaining 2,100 stores in the United States and Puerto Rico.

The chain had filed for Chapter 11 protection from bankruptcy nearly two years ago, closing hundreds of stores as part of its reorganization.

Liquidation sales start on Sunday, February 17th. All stores remain open until the end of March. Many more remain in business until May.

Store closures in the Hudson Valley and Fairfield County are as follows:
