MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio (CNN) – A brawl broke out in a court in Mahoning County, Ohio, as two brothers attacked the man found guilty of murdering their mother.

Dale Williams is expected to be sentenced Thursday after confessing to having his ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Pledger, flee in 2017, said Mahoning County Sheriff Jerry Greene.

Greene told CNN that the incident began when Pledger's sister was preparing to file a victim impact statement in court. Anthony Dees, one of Pledger's 30-year-old sons, was walking with his aunt when he went to Williams, jumped over a table and tried to get out of bed. attack Williams. Officers used a stun gun on Jerome Stuart Dees, said Greene. The two brothers were finally mastered.

"He killed my mom, dude," Jerome Stuart Dees told agents while he was handcuffed. "It was my mom, she took care of me, man."

The two brothers were charged with contempt of court, offense of crime and obstruction of official work.

The two brothers were to be brought to justice Friday, but a bomb threat has shut down the courthouse, according to CNN affiliate, WKBN-TV.

Williams' sentence was postponed until Monday due to the fight in the hearing room, Greene said.
