Two men were gunned down outside restaurants on 14th Street in Washington, DC on Thursday night.
The shooting took place around 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of 14th Street and Riggs Street NW. Both victims were conscious and breathing when police arrived at the scene and were taken to hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
DC Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee told reporters Thursday evening that officers were looking for several suspects in connection with the shooting.
Video tweeted by the police department shows the suspects, one dressed in a black hoodie and the other in a lighter colored hoodie, rushing towards an old black sedan.

He urged those who had the videos or information to contact the police.

Kaitlan Collins, CNN’s White House correspondent, said she was parking at the intersection as the shooting occurred. She said she saw a gunman shoot someone on several occasions.

Another person who was at a nearby Mexican restaurant said they feared dying after hearing the gunshots.

“I am outraged, the leader is outraged and the community should be outraged,” she said.
The shooting comes less than a week after a shooting started outside the national stadium at least four people injured.
