The jogging club of Tyler C. in New York

Back in June, Cameron created an informal jogging club. The idea was to get people out of New York out, no matter where the participants were in their fitness journey.

"Go to Central Park in Tavern on the Green … Whether you're running or walking, it's an easy way to hold each other accountable and get healthy together," he writes in a post on Instagram.

At the first rally, the New York Post reported about 60 participants (most of whom were women). At the next passage: 100. The number of participants continues to grow.

Most participating joggers are beginners. So, Cameron, with the help of Nike coach, Jes Woods, has established a race plan that gradually increases over time, eventually reaching a 5K.

"I love seeing people who can bring together runners who may have never run before," Woods told The Post.

In a recent race, 22-year-old Jenna Bonura struggled a mile and a half.

"I have to develop endurance," Bonura said. "I ran halfway, and then I started walking. same [running] for Tyler, I'm not fit. "

When the group needs an encouraging speech, Cameron is happy to be able to inspire.

"If you're having trouble and you're trying to get yourself out of a hole, just do it step by step, keep your head down and keep going," Cameron told the seemingly bewildered crowd before a recent race. "You will eventually get there."

It is not surprising that many joggers present may have ulterior motives. He can not be completely lost on Cameron Why exactly a lot of these New York women are suddenly so focused on fitness.

"All these girls run after him. He is superb. It's the funniest show. It's like the Beatles, "said Mia Krugger, a 20-year-old student.
