Each Pokémon is interesting and worth talking about. I don’t play a ton of Pokemon, but I love the universe and love to learn more about the creatures within it. So here’s another Pokémon! It’s Tynamo!

Tynamo details

I still believe it to be true. But Tynamo almost got me. I had almost nothing to say about this little fish that generates a little electricity. No offense to Tynamo, but you are so … boring. So dull. We have little aquatic creatures that generate electricity in the real world. Even your name is boring. You sound boring. But I can talk about you. I can do it. This is what I decided to do. It’s my curse.

So uh … Tynamo. Yeah, it’s a fish. What I have already said. But it’s tiny. I also said it. However, being so small that it doesn’t generate much energy on its own. So he swims in the big schools with other Tynamos instead and that allows them to collectively build more energy. I don’t really know what these fish are doing with all that power. Sure Bulbapedia he’s not saying they’re using it to attack powerful enemies or rip a hole in the space-time continuum or anything cool like that. Instead, it simply says “… they discharge electricity if they are in danger.” So it’s like when dogs fart after being scared.

Look, I’m scraping the bottom of the barrel with this stupid fish. Maybe I can play a joke on Tesla? As I prefer to ride a few of them to work than getting into a Tesla. It could be funny and give me a few sentences. But honestly, I think we all know there’s not much to say.

This is how you know you have a boring Pokemon. This is what is included in the short entry on Bulbapeida about Tynamo.

The Pokémon Company merchandise art and several TCG illustrations show Tynamo swimming in or jumping out of bodies of water. “

Fascinating information, folks. It is not the fault of the good people of Bulabpedia. At some point you have to write something down and you run out of really interesting things to say. As a professional writer, I understand this very well. For example, this post!

Random facts

  • Tynamo and its evolved forms are the only Pokemon without any type weakness to speak of. Interesting? May be. But it’s a fact and it’s random … so I write it down.
  • Wait, you want another … uh … pass.
  • Okay, fine, this is the first Pokémon in the history of the Here Another Pokemon series to confuse Zack.

Zack, you can’t just put “bad dragon” with a link attached.

Well … that’s a good point.
