Tyrann Mathieu has not been a member of the Kansas City Chiefs for a long time, but he never knew how to keep his opinions.
Mathieu SB was interviewed on SB Nation radio about the NFL's most important story, involving his new teammate Tyreek Hill and accusations of mistreating his son. You know, it's a very unfortunate situation. I was not very much his team mate, just two or three weeks. So it's not really fair that I comment on his character. I do not think I really know him.
"But as I said, with everything that's out right now and obviously the audio, it's very disappointing, not just from my teammate's point of view, but I'm also a father. It is very disappointing.
While it's not the most inflammatory comments you'll see, especially about such a troubling story, it's always surprising to see an NFL player talking about a teammate.
NFL did not talk much about Tyreek Hill
The NFL has not talked much about Hill yet. The chiefs did not do anything important about the situation. We are left to wait.
Hill's past, before he was in the NFL, was often mentioned in recent accusations. Hill pleaded guilty to the domestic battery in 2014, after being accused of beating and choking Espinal.
