WASHINGTON – Tyson Foods, Arkansas, recalls more than 69,000 kilograms of frozen, ready-to-eat chicken strips, as they may be contaminated with pieces of metal.

The US Department of Agriculture said Thursday that the products had been manufactured on November 30, 2018 and that their date of use was optimal if it was used as of November 30, 2019. The products bear the number of the product. "P-7221" on the back of the packages.

The USDA said it received two complaints about the metal, but no case of injury has been confirmed.

The USDA fears that the products are still in the freezers. Consumers should discard the packaging or return it to the place where it was purchased.
