Tyson Foods is recalling 11.8 million pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat chicken strips that could be contaminated with "foreign materials," including metal, the security and safety department said in a statement. Food Inspection (FSIS) of the US Department of Agriculture.
The recall is an extension of a precedent in March that included 69,000 pounds of chicken strip products.

The meat producer announced that he had extended the recall after two customers complained of having recently found extraneous material in their chicken strips. Since March, FSIS has received six complaints about metal parts and three complaints about oral injuries.
The recalled items bearing the business number "P-72221" were manufactured from October to March 8, with the publication date: "used by", from October 1, 2019 to March 7, 2020.
FSIS urges customers who use these products to discard them or bring them back to the place of purchase, asking them not to consume them.

Tyson's fully cooked crispy chicken strips in bags of 25 and 40 ounces;
Tyson-style fully cooked buffalo chicken strips in bags of 25 and 40 ounces;
Tyson Chicken Tenderloin, fully baked, BBQ and Honey Scented, in 25 ounce sacks;
Buffalo chicken strips in 20 ounce bags;
Great Value Fully Cooked Chicken Loin in 25 ounce bags;
Food Lion Crispy Chicken Strips in 25 ounce bags.
