Saturday's release boosted Tyson's recall in March, when more than 69,000 pounds of chicken strips were recalled, FSIS said in a statement.

The last reminder concerns products manufactured from October 1, 2018 to March 8, 2019, said FSIS. According to the press release, the packages contained "expiry dates" from October 1, 2019 to March 7, 2020.

The recalled products carry the number "P-7221" on the back of the package and have been shipped nationally and to the US Virgin Islands, according to the FSIS.

The problem was revealed when FSIS received two complaints, but the agency said it was aware of six overall complaints.

According to FSIS, the recalled products include Tyson's fully cooked crispy chicken strips in bags of 25 and 40 ounces; Tyson-style fully cooked buffalo chicken strips in bags of 25 and 40 ounces; Tyson Chicken Tenderloin, fully cooked, BBQ and Honey Scented, in 25 ounce sacks; Buffalo chicken strips in 20 ounce bags; Great Value Fully Cooked Chicken Loin in 25 ounce bags; and crispy Food Lion chicken strips in 25 ounce bags.

Recall of over 36,400 pounds of Tyson Chicken Nuggets due to rubber contamination issues

In the previous recall, the products had only one date of use: November 30, 2019, reported CNN.

On January 30, Tyson recalled 36,420 pounds of chicken nuggets, fearing that the food had been contaminated with rubber. Doudans more than twelve days earlier, Perdue had recalled 68,244 pounds of gluten-free chicken nuggets, fearing that the food would be contaminated with wood.
