  Challenging Arabic Reading

The Arab Reading Project, organized by the United Arab Emirates, honors 30 students from the Azhar Sohag region at the Al Azhar Conference Center in Nasr City.

This is the largest Arab project launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Sovereign of Dubai, to encourage reading of students in the Arab world.More 1 million students spend 50 million books per academic year.



The Challenge takes the form of a competition for reading in Arabic Students from the first to the twelfth grade of participating schools throughout the Arab world start from September each year until the end March of the following year

The participating students are divided into five stages, each consisting of ten books and summarizing them in the passports. The challenge, after completing the reading and summarizing, begins the qualification steps according to the approved standards, and is carried out at the level of schools and educational zones, then the level of the Arab countries to the finalists, which are held in Dubai each year in October.
