AC Milan came close to the next round with a 5-2 win at home against Luxemburgish Diddelange in Group F, which allowed Betis Sable to qualify after a 1-0 win at home against Olympiakos.

The Turkish team took advantage of Anderlecht's draw with the same result with Spartak Trnava of Slovakia.
