Abdullah bin Zayed talks with Cyprus Foreign Minister about strengthening relations between the two countries

HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates received Nikos Christodolidis Cyprus, at the General Secretariat of the Ministry in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Cypriot counterpart discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including trade, politics, the economy and investment.

The two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues and developments and current developments, and discussed topics of common interest, particularly developments in Yemen and Libya.
Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan underscored the UAE's desire to expand cooperation and cultural and economic communication among countries and peoples around the world.

For his part, the Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed the UAE's dominant position at the regional and international levels, stressing his country's concern to strengthen cooperation with the UAE in various fields.
