Doctors at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi warned of the impact of local weather conditions due to drought, dust and strong sunlight on the eye health. Ocular psoriasis is a preventable eye disease, common in the Middle East due to dry weather, high exposure to sun and dust, which affects one in ten people worldwide and affects men more than the women.

Growth of the eye bladder and conjunctivitis occurs as a result of prolonged exposure to sunlight, heat, and dust. The disease is caused by an abnormal growth of the mucosa in front of the eyeball, which causes irritation, redness and dehydration.

He adds: "I advise everyone to do an eye exam to prevent the onset of this disease or treat with medication or surgery. Eye protection is the easiest way to avoid this situation. Simple, most cases can also be treated using artificial tears to moisten the surface of the eye.

If the patient's dementia is diagnosed, it is necessary to consult the doctor every 6-12 months to monitor the development of the disease. If daffodra is a stage where it affects the clarity of vision, either because of deviation or because of pupil growth, surgery should be discontinued.
