Users Can Now Lock Firefox Focus for Face ID

Firefox Focus Mozilla, which focuses on privacy, now supports Face ID on the IPhone X. The new Firefox Focus version of the iOS platform allows users to set it to lock automatically when it is sent to the background. The only way to open the application again is to use Face ID. This allows users to use Touch ID or Face ID to unlock the browser. This is an extra layer of browser privacy when you unlock your device.

Once Firefox Focus is updated on your device, users can find the appropriate option in the Settings menu under the name "Use your Touch / Face ID to unlock the application". As the expression indicates, this feature automatically locks the browser when the user switches to another application, and to unlock the browser again, the user will have to use the login touch or face ID.

This does not require locking the phone, so the app stays protected even if the phone is unlocked and with something else. This is an excellent feature to protect your browsing history, especially if you tend to deliver your phone to other people often.

The latest version of Firefox Focus for the iOS platform is now available for download.
