MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia's oil production reached a record 11.41 million bpd in October, according to data from the Energy Ministry on Friday, while companies like Rosneft and Lukoil have increased their stocks.
This level corresponds to 11.36 million bpd in September, the highest level of the post – Soviet era. It also confirms the data cited by a petroleum sector source on Wednesday.
Oil production reached 48 262 million tonnes, compared to 46.478 million tonnes in September. According to a Reuters survey, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) increased its oil production to its highest level in October since 2016. (Reuters)
