The Community Development Authority (CDA), in collaboration with the British University of Dubai, has launched an assessment test of social workers, the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East, to evaluate the skills of professionals in the social sector.
The first group of professionals passed the test, improving their ability to directly provide social services and supporting and assisting service professionals in private sector institutions overseen by TRA.

Employees of the Authority include Badriya Hamzah Al-Malouhi, Shaikha Ali Saif Al Muhairi, Maysoun Hamza, Halima Mohammed Abdullah, Fatima Mohammed Salman, Zainab Abdullah Al Dashti, Khawla Jaber Al Amiri, Huda Waleed Al Bastaki and Fatima Al Zaabi, Huda Jaber, Hala Ahmed, Sawsan al-Faqi, Rina Samir and Iman al-Yahya.
