Billboard, the world's greatest singer and songwriter, has chosen the young American singer Ariana Grande to win the title of "Woman of the Year" this year.
"Grandi is always defending himself and defending his artistic choices, in a world that often does not like the kind of power of young women," said Ross Scarano, vice president of Billboard, in a statement.
The 25-year-old is also on the list of 40 best tracks, including No Tears Left To Cry, Breathin, and God Is A Woman.
Grandi participated in the organization of One Love Manchester last year by raising more than $ 23 million in donations to the victims of the Manchester terrorist incident in the United Kingdom.
Grandi will receive the Woman of the Year Award at the 13th edition of the Women in Music Festival, organized by Billboard on December 6th in New York.
Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Madonna and Selena Gomez are the recipients of the Women of the Year Award.
