Abu Dhabi, November 14 (WAM) – A delegation of the Ministry of the Interior, led by Major General Jassim Mohammed Al Marzouqi, has visited the headquarters of the Civil Defense in Singapore as part of a meeting. an exchange of experiences and information between the different countries of the world to improve the safety and security of the United Arab Emirates. During the visit, Major General Jassim Al Marzouqi met with Mr. Eric Yap, Commissioner General of Civil Defense of Singapore, and exchanged experiences and knowledge in the fields of training and scientific research, protection and firefighting, as well as Singapore's experience in managing fire and disasters. Singapore civil society included a number of field activities for civil defense operations, and Singapore capabilities and capabilities used in risk prevention and fire control were reviewed.

During the visit, the delegation of the Ministry of the Interior of the United Arab Emirates visited the Singapore Civil Defense fire test laboratory, which includes a research unit specializing in the development and maintenance of selection of fire-fighting equipment, as well as in the central operations room of the Singapore Civil Defense Centers.
