Abu Dhabi, Nov. 26 (WAM) – The special service of the President celebrated the 47th National State Day at the headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Department.
The ceremony began with the national anthem of the country followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an, including a number of passages reflecting the spirit of loyalty and belonging to the country, with the participation of department employees, the Abu Dhabi Police Orchestra and several schoolchildren.
The celebration is part of the 47th National Day of the United Arab Emirates, led by the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding fathers of the Emirates, and embodies the progress and prosperity of the Emirates under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
