LONDON (Reuters) – Wembley is ready to host the UEFA Champions League clash against Inter Milan on Wednesday, the European Football Confederation (UEFA) said on Wednesday, although some sources have said the EU Dilapidated was frustrated.
The second-round match of the Champions League will be the seventh to host the stadium about four weeks after playing a football game, in addition to two Premier League matches, with the exception of Tottenham Hotspur, who are waiting to move into their new stadium.
Tottenham must win to secure a place in the Champions League.
The Continental Union expressed dissatisfaction with the level of the terrain, which featured bumps and clay areas. But a spokesman told Reuters via e-mail: "The possibility of a match between Tottenham and Inter Milan in the Champions League is not in doubt."
Italy is second in Group B, three points from third place, Tottenham, which has four points.
Barca are leading the group with 10 points and will play PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday before the host country hosts Tottenham at home next month.
