Archaeologists believe that the mask, which probably dates back to the Neolithic period, may have been designed to be worn or worn, with four hanging holes placed on its edges.
The mask is supposed to illuminate the period of profound transformation, from the transition from primitive life to permanent stability and organized agriculture, a transformation that led to the emergence of the first cities and the first half of the world. writing.
