PARIS (Reuters) – Paris St Germain have strengthened their hopes of qualifying for the last 16 in the Champions League after their 2-1 win over Liverpool in the group stage.
The Parisians lit the stadiums of the Jardin des Princes to celebrate their precious victory over Liverpool. The celebrations were then held in the locker room.
Brazilian duo Neymar and defender Dani Alves celebrated the victory with a carnival in the locker room.
PSG is about to reach the final phase of the tournament, having increased its lead to eight points and moved to Group 2.
The Brazilian only needs to draw in the next match against Serbian club Zvizda "Red Star" to reserve a place among the 16 adults, regardless of the result of the second match between Liverpool and Naples.
Napoli is leading the group with nine points, while Liverpool is third with 6 points and Tsvina Zvezda is fourth with four points.
