Borussia Dortmund, Germany, announced on Wednesday a contract with Belgian Thuran Hazard from Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Dortmund has issued an official statement on its website, announcing the signature of the 26-year-old player with a contract extending until June 30, 2024.

"We are delighted that Hazard is joining us," said Michael Zork on the club's official website.

Zork highlighted the Belgian international experience in the Bundesliga, as well as the technical abilities that will help the Vistival Blacks next season.

"I'm grateful for my five years in the Mönchengladbach, which has great memories, but it's a good time to take a new step in my career," said Hazard.

"I'm proud to play in the Bundesliga, one of the biggest clubs in Borussia Dortmund, and to have incredible fans."

Hazzard is the second summer contract for Dortmund, having signed Nico Schulz of Hoffenheim on Tuesday and is about to join Julien Brandt of Bayer Leverkusen.
