Sleep and light increase weight

In a new study, researchers warned that sleep and light from an illuminated room or television could cause considerable weight gain because they disrupt the body's biological clock.

According to the Daily Mail, people exposed to an industrial light of any kind at night are more likely to gain weight by 17%.

In the study conducted by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences of North Carolina, approximately 44,000 women are followed up.

For five years, it was noted that those who had been asked to leave the light on had taken up to 5 kg.

Researchers believe that the reason is sleep disorder, which affects the balance of hormones and encourages people to search for high-calorie foods.
