Lebanese artist and musician Ziad Rahbani announced Friday the return of normal relations with his mother Fairouz, after a break of several years, and announced a ceremony for Fairuz next year.
Al-Rahbani said in a television interview that he was in daily contact with Fairouz after a misunderstanding between them on the background of announcing his political stance on the current events in Lebanon.
In response to a question about whether the reconciliation had actually occurred, Rahbani said, "Yes, and I am a cousin of the story with my sister, Because my sister was bad Faith or did not know that she was working for Fayrouz, she was not very successful … My mother even asked me what I thought of him … I told her and we came back and saw some of my thoughts.
Rahbani considered that what had happened with Fairuz was only a misunderstanding that benefited a lot of people
