The young artist Ahmed Hassanein, electricity stands installed in the streets of several Egyptian governorates, Luxor in the south to Cairo, through exquisite paintings, to make exhibitions and art galleries full of life, at place of ugly scenes and dumps.

"Live Steel Masrawy", the young artist asked to tell us his experience and the details of his initiative.

"I was born in Luxor and I was 29. I graduated from a college of fine arts and I was appointed to the new Urban Communities Authority of the Ministry of Housing. as a decorator.

This was the beginning of his remarkable initiative, when he noticed the advertisements on the street walls and the objects used to attract visitors: he tried to paint different plates on the electricity stands that delight the hearts of the visitors. ordinary people who can not go to art galleries and discover the art.

"My first thought was to turn electricity booths into street art.When I was working as a decorator in the community, the idea was born in my mind and I started to work on it. to apply on the ground for the first time in the new city of Toshka, in the new valley, "said Hassanein. In 2015, then moved to the city of Aswan and in the city of Taiba to Luxor.

After Hassanein was trained in his attempts and signs of success, and there was an echo and welcome from the people, he decided to go to work in Cairo and repeated the idea in places near Cairo, in the cities of Shuruk, Badr, May 15 and in transit.

The boss of the artist in his drawings to select the ideas translated to the panels on the electricity stands very carefully, be expressed on the special character of the city, what distinguishes it or a known teacher. Durable materials and materials have been used to withstand periods and natural conditions, such as high temperatures, humidity, rain and sun.

He continued: "I started drawing on electricity stands, but I did not limit myself to that but I extended my drawings to large murals, to form a painting that reflects the place and that passers-by understand. "

"I always need the naughty need of a joyous need to enjoy people and children … I work on my own."
