Mohammed Yousuf, managing director and acting director of the Al Ahli football team, asked Al Wasl officials to open the doors of the Burj Al Arab stadium in front of fans of the United Arab Emirates team.
Yusuf announced the decision at the technical meeting of the meeting which was held Saturday in the presence of Mohd Al-Shahri, match controller, match coordinator Mohammed Hussein, Mohammed Qazzaz's resident referees, and the chairman of the meeting. Oussama Ismail, media coordinator, and Ibrahim Al-Dhafian, representative of the General Secretariat of the Arab Union.
Al-Shihri also thanked the UAE officials for reacting to the surprise decision to transfer the game to Borg Al Arab Stadium.
Al Ahli will play Al Wasl in the UAE at 8 pm Sunday and the two teams will meet in the UAE on November 22nd.
