Two projects will be launched sometime in the year 2018, entitled "The Network", a collaboration between the Fatima Bint Initiative Mohammed Bin Zayed and Emirati designer Rawda Al Shamsi, who designed three structures shade for the Dubai district. This product will be produced by Afghan women as part of the Fatima Bint Mohammed Bin Zayed project, which will be used to educate women and help them develop and improve their skills. The three structures will be exhibited during Dubai Design Week in November 2018 and definitely in the Dubai Design District.

In the second "Design 100" project, Dubai Design District invited designers from all over the United Arab Emirates to design a piece of furniture or a functional tool, selecting the winning piece, of which 100 pieces will be produced in partnership with Dubai.
