Dubai Smart has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IBM to establish the Data Science Lab and host the "Data Leaders Summit" in Dubai next year.
This meeting took place on the sidelines of the "Global Data Forum 2018 United Nations", which is held in the city of Jumeirah in Dubai.
Dubai Smart plans to launch the Data Science Lab, which aims to refine the data computing skills in Dubai by strengthening and establishing constructive cooperation with emirate stakeholders.
"Dubai has been able to achieve a qualitative leap and a radical change in the use, adoption and integration of advanced technologies," said Younis Al Nasser, deputy general manager of Dubai Smart.
