The Korean electronics company Samsung has postponed its Galaxy Fold phone at least next month instead of next Friday. According to anonymous sources, the Wall Street Journal said the postponement was the last flaw detected by the examiners.
The $ 2,000 phone was to be available in stores this week in the United States.
However, technical critics had problems after inadvertently removing the top layer of the screen from the new device, thinking that it was a protective shell that tore a part of the phone screen. Others said they had not removed any part of the screen, but had reported problems with the hardware or displays.
The Korean company responded to complaints that it would investigate the reasons for the imbalance and that the device would be available next Friday without a change of date, but that it would be sent back to stop the offer process.
The first sign of cancellation of this announcement was the official announcement by Samsung Electronics to postpone the scheduled phone events this week in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
The problem comes at a critical time for the company, which lost some of its luster to its less expensive Chinese rivals, including Huawei, its main competitor, who announced a folding phone.
The audience was waiting for the Galaxy Bold to arrive with a flexible 7.3-inch screen when it's open and a 4.6-inch screen when it's folded. Its imaging system includes six cameras, 12 GB of RAM, 512 GB of internal storage and a battery of 3,380 mAh.
The incident is reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 7's battery explosion three years ago, when the company was forced to remove the devices, which was expensive for them at the time.
