UAE Steel, the largest steel producer in the UAE, said in a statement it has signed a four-year contract with the Brazilian company Valle.
Valle, the largest producer of iron ore and iron ore, will supply iron to the UAE for steel production in Abu Dhabi, the statement said, without mentioning the value of the contract.
UAE iron needs about 6 million tons of iron a year.
