The Authority has begun to implement the decision of the Council of Ministers on the extension of all types of visiting visas, whether visiting or tourism (long and short at the beginning of the week according to a set of conditions and controls for 30 days and twice only, regardless of the basic duration of the initial visa.

She explained that the benefit of the decision for those who had committed the violation required the offender to pay the fines resulting from the violation of (100 dirhams) for each day of delay (10 days) after the expiry of the validity of the entry or visa, which was to be extended by 30 days. The date of extension is calculated from the date of termination of the previous entry permit, according to Al Bayan.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 77 of Ministerial Decree No. 500 of 2008 and before the end of the first extension, he may request a second extension of 30 days.

The Authority also set fees for the extension of entry permits to 600 dirhams by extension, stating that this decision did not include resident permits for residents Gulf Cooperation Council countries, GCC citizens' rights and special entry permits and entry permit for one mission (96 hours).

The mechanism for submitting applications to benefit from the three decisions is that they can be submitted via all points of service provided by the Authority, namely the electronic channel (e-chanel) through the intermediary offices of Facilitation and Printing Offices, as well as the Directorate General of Residence and Foreign Affairs in the UAE, State-level.

The Authority expects that new decisions relating to the extension of entry permits, the creation of divorced and widowed and the renewal of the residence of dependents at the same time will be required. from their university or secondary education or their 18 years of age contribute to the support of the tourism sector in the country, because it allows tourists and visitors to spend longer in the country The attractions and tourist facilities are more numerous than in the most advanced countries in the world.
