The Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DEWA) has announced a world record Guinness book record in the world's largest wooden mosaic panel with the slogan "General Zayed" on the plaque.
Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement by Samer Khallouf, Records Manager for the Middle East and North Africa at Guinness World Records, in the presence of Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority employees, business partners and residents.
The painting of 224.12 square meters of 22275 pieces of recycled wood mosaic is on display in front of the headquarters of the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority. The giant painting, which took about 260 hours, brought together more than 80 people, with the participation of Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority and its staff.
Dr. Mohammed Al Zarouni said: "We are delighted to be the first record we have achieved in Guinness World Records in tribute to the legacy of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who God have mercy on him, the achievements of our nation in letters of light. "
