The governing board of the Ghana Football Federation decided on Friday not to include Ghanaian clubs in the next season of the African Champions League and Confederation Cup.

According to the website of the local federation, the clubs "Nadia Mediama" and "Ashanti Gold" have asked to participate in the next edition of the African Champions League and to the Confederation, respectively, as the first and second edition of the league before the cancellation.

But the committee refused and decided to apologize for the outstanding participation in both tournaments, which begin in November.

The committee manages the affairs of the game, after the dissolution of the federation following a scandal of corruption not completed because of the national league.

FIFA has threatened to end the activities of the Ghana federation after its dissolution by the country's government before retiring after the provisional appointment of a steering committee until the holding of elections in a new council to lead the federation.

The league stopped in June after the storm and Mediama and Ashanti Gold staged the same number of points.
