Gulf stock markets close higher except for Dubai and Muscat markets

RIYADH: Most Gulf stock markets dominated Monday's trading, with the exception of the Dubai and Muscat stock markets.

The market value of Gulf stock markets increased $ 4.13 billion, or 0.4%, to $ 1,034 billion.

Qatar's stock market jumped 1.02% to close at 10,356.6 points.

The market value of Qatar Exchange rose to about $ 2.08 billion, up 1.3% to $ 180.8 billion.

The Abu Dhabi stock market rose 0.5% to reach the level of 4971.4 points, with market gains of about $ 88 million.

Kuwait's benchmark rose 0.49 percent, with market gains of $ 34 million to $ 95.32 billion.

The general index of the Bahrain Stock Exchange rose 0.47% to 1326.86 points.

The Bahrain Stock Exchange realized market gains of about $ 80 million, reaching $ 21.68 billion.

The Saudi Stock Exchange, the largest stock exchange, rose 0.22% to 7,528.9 points.

The market capitalization of the Saudi Stock Exchange increased by $ 1.15 billion to $ 474.8 billion.

Dubai and Muscat fell by 0.44% and 0.37% respectively.

The market value of the Dubai Stock Exchange has dropped by $ 274 million, while that of Bahrain has decreased by $ 121 million.
