The social networking application Instagram has launched a new feature that helps facilitate communication between users.
Users of the popular photo and video application now have the opportunity to see if their friends are online or offline to chat with them, having a "green dot" next to their profiles, according to the US website The Virg .
The "presence indicator" will appear in restricted areas on Instagram, including the section for direct user messages, as well as in the list of entries.
The "green dot" will only appear to friends who follow you. Chat with direct messages.
