Aerosmith guitarist Joe Berry entered the hospital on Saturday night, minutes after playing Billie Joel at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Joe Berry, 68, was wounded when he left the theater, according to his press officer.
The rocker had trouble breathing. A medical team arrived and provided first aid. The player was still in the hospital Sunday, according to the same source, pointing out that Joe Berry was able to communicate.
The singer has canceled a concert he should have attended Sunday in Florida, "but he will resume his tour later this month," said the source.
The specific causes of Bery's malaise were not known.
Perry is a founding member of the Aerosmith group in Boston in 1970.
He repeatedly stated that he was suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction for many years, particularly in the late 1970s.
He had already had a health problem in 2016 on the stage at a Hollywood Vampire concert, with which he sometimes cooperates.
The discomfort was attributed to fatigue because the guitarist was involved in several consecutive concerts.
