Books – Assem Al-Ansari:
Many smartphone users take their devices with them to the bathroom to perform many tasks, between browsing SMS, e-mails or social networking sites and perhaps talking to others through phone.
According to research and studies, this behavior is undesirable and carries a high risk.
According to the newspaper "Mirror", British scientists have confirmed that the danger is to detect harmful bacteria that may be present in the baths for one reason or another.
Scientists have identified some of the harmful bacteria present in bathrooms, such as Salmonella, E. coli and C. Daviesel, and indicated that they could be transmitted to the same person and that person on the phone and possibly to other people he gave them the phone to see or read something.
They can be found at the hands of bathroom doors, faucets or any other equipment in the bathroom, and these bacteria spread to people as soon as they touch them, they said.
"Handwashing and disinfection will not prevent diseases and the bacteria will not get into their hands," said Lisa Ackerley, a sterilization expert, which does not sterilize the book or her smartphone.
Ron Cutler, director of biomedical sciences at Queen Mary University in London, said the best solution for avoiding the transmission of bacteria to humans was to avoid taking the smartphone with him.
"The extent of the risk is not simply related to the dirtiness or cleanliness of the bathroom, it is found in public or shared bathrooms.
