LG made a profit of 589 million euros in the second quarter of this year

LG realizes some gains in second quarter of this year despite They do not match analysts' estimates. During the three-month period ended in June, LG earned 771 billion won (589 million euros) and generated 15 trillion won (11.4 billion euros) in revenue.

LG's operating profit increased by 16.1% over the same period last year, while revenues grew by 3.2% from 14.6 trillion to 15 trillion won. Earlier in the day, Samsung also announced operating profit of 14.8 trillion won (11.3 trillion euros) in the second quarter of this year.

Back to LG, analysts believe that rising marketing costs for new devices such as the LG G7 ThinQ negatively affect the company's profits. LG will release a detailed report later this month.
