The General Authority for Civil Aviation (GCAA) has launched the Mohammed bin Rashid International Aviation Award to recognize the contributions of countries, business organizations and individuals around the world to the development of the aviation sector.

He explained that the annual meetings of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization in Montreal were chosen to celebrate the award and pay tribute to the laureates every three years.
