"Music Conference" concludes its activities with 7 recommendations and calls for the creation of archives and museums of Arab music

The Scientific Committee of the 27th Arab Music Conference, chaired by Dr. Rasha Tamoum and Jihan Morsi, Conference and Festival Director, announced the recommendations adopted by the Committee at the closing session and focused on 7 important points, including the invitation of academies and institutes of music of the Arab world to develop Teach Arabic music while preserving its aesthetics and identity, and develop mechanisms for the exchange of research and research. scientific messages between scientific institutions of the Arab world and the creation of a digital music library.

The third is to invite Arab arts and cultural institutions to organize events for new Arab creative experiences, as well as to request the establishment of archives and museums of Arab music in local and national settings, as well as the creation of electronic databases and the invitation of specialists to draft laws. And mechanisms to provide musical material to users and stakeholders in accordance with the rules of the reservation of this material, to guarantee the property rights of creators and to guarantee material income useful to the development and continuity of these institutions.

In addition to inviting the press institutions and national publishing houses of the Arab world to allow criticism of specialized music and processions of the creative movement, to create a journal of musical critics for all that is presented in musical life in the Arab world and to encourage young critics to reward critical and serious criticism. Internationally and the creation of an organization specializing in the printing and dissemination of musical codes and the publication of writings of students specializing in music criticism in educational institutions by means of an electronic magazine. The recommendations concluded with an appreciation of the participants in the conference and roundtable and called for its continuation as a starting point for the creation of a glossary of musical terms in Arab countries. It should be noted that the conference of the Arab Music Festival held its sessions in the small theater of the Opera, where 42 researchers and musical experts from 16 Arab and foreign countries, Egypt, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Sultanate of Oman, Denmark, Jordan, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco, Libya, Palestine, Iraq, Sudan and Bahrain.
