Nakheel lays the cornerstone of Dragon Towers

Real estate development company Nakheel (Nakheel) laid the foundation stone yesterday for its Twin Towers project, located in Dragon City, a multipurpose community whose total cost is 713 million AED.

The inauguration ceremony, led by Ali Rashid Lootah, president of Nakheel, comes a month after Nakheel awarded a contract worth 552 million AED to Ali Moussa & Sons Contracting, based in Emirates, for the construction of the Towers of the Dragon. It is the first high-rise housing project in the community of Dragon City and the region, which is expected to be completed by 2021.

Dragon Tower sales were launched last month from AED 449,000. They are connected directly by an exclusive pedestrian bridge to the famous Dragon Market, which houses 5,000 shops, services and facilities, and includes two twin towers of 37 stories each. The tower has 571 one and two bedroom apartments, including two floors of retail, podium parking, a podium-club on the 6th floor, a 25 meter pool and a children's pool, a restaurant , a gym and a tennis court.

Location

The Dragon Towers are located in Al Aweer Street and are easily accessible from the Dubai International Airport, the main business and leisure areas of Dubai, by the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, the roads and the newly developed bridges and the green line leading to Dubai's next metro. And the new Dubai Metro stations, which will provide easy access to different parts of the city.

Dragon Towers is a key element of Nakheel's ongoing expansion in the retail, hotel and restaurant sectors of Dragon City, home to the Dragon Market 1 and 2 markets and the 39, Ibis Styles.

The construction of the new complex of exhibition halls and parking spaces and Premier Inn has reached an advanced stage with new extensions.
