NASA has signed a cooperation agreement with the Emirati Space Agency on flights Space-wise manned to the Moon, The joint intentions were signed by Dr. Mohammed Al Ahbabi, Director General of the United Arab Emirates Space Agency.

The UAE is working on an exercise of 9 astronauts, four of whom will be selected.The first United Arab Emirates astronaut is expected to fly to the International Space Station in April 2019. The United Arab Emirates Space Agency has reached an agreement with Roscozmos, the Russian space agency.

The US Space Agency NASA and the United Arab Emirates signed a research agreement on space and air navigation in June 2016, but this new common message puts the focus on travel human space and other purposes of space exploration.
